Dordoni Alessandro Del Socaccio is the 103rd Arrancar and a Privaron Espada, one of the ranked Arrancar who lost their number when Aizen assembled the current ten. He guards a tower of Las Noches and greets Ichigo Kurosaki with elaborate courtesy, mangled honorifics and a running commentary on his own performance.

The fight is not really about winning. Dordoni spends it trying to force Ichigo into using his full strength, on the grounds that being beaten by someone holding back would be an insult he could not survive, and he is visibly delighted when the Hollow mask finally comes out. His release, Giralda, turns his legs into twin whirlwinds and he fights almost entirely by kicking.

He loses, and rather than let Ichigo finish him he asks to be left alive long enough to hold the next opponent. He then turns on Aizen's forces to buy Ichigo time and is cut down for it by Szayelaporro Granz. For a character introduced as a joke about a demoted Espada with a ridiculous manner, he is one of the few Arrancar who makes a choice.
