Zommari
Rureaux

Zommari Rureaux is the Séptima Espada, and the only one who treats his rank as a spiritual station rather than a job. He speaks in formal, measured terms, considers the Shinigami arrogant for judging Hollows at all, and is the sole Espada to frame the war as a question of justice.

His aspect of death is intoxication, and his release, Brujería, covers his body in fifty eyes. Anything one of them looks at is claimed and moved as he chooses: an arm, a leg, another person entirely. It is the closest thing in the series to a possession ability, and it works on captains.

Byakuya Kuchiki beats it by refusing the terms. When Zommari takes control of his leg, Byakuya cuts the leg. When he takes Rukia, Byakuya shoots through the parts of her that are being moved rather than the parts that are hers. Zommari dies accusing him of hypocrisy for calling Hollows evil while doing exactly this, and Byakuya answers that he does not think of Hollows as evil at all, only as things that got in the way of his sister.
