Ggio
Vega

Ggio Vega is the 26th Arrancar and one of Baraggan Louisenbairn's six Fracción, sent to destroy one of the four pillars anchoring the real Karakura Town in Soul Society. His master's instruction was that if the Shinigami were going to guard the pillars with ants, he would send dragons, which tells you how Baraggan regarded both sides of that exchange.

He draws Suì-Fēng, which is the worst possible assignment. His release, Tigre Estoque, turns him into a sabretooth form with bladed tails and a genuine increase in speed, and he is fast enough to make it a real fight for a while. He also talks throughout, needling Suì-Fēng about her treatment of Marechiyo Ōmaeda and getting a flat answer about why she has no interest in being liked.

The end is instructive about the gap between an Espada's Fracción and a captain. Suì-Fēng uses Shunkō, a technique she almost never needs, and it is over immediately. Ggio dies proud of a rank that meant a great deal in Las Noches and almost nothing on a battlefield in Karakura Town, which is roughly the fate of every one of Baraggan's court.
