Lisa
Yadōmaru

Lisa Yadōmaru was the lieutenant of the 8th Division under Shunsui Kyōraku, and a century after being exiled from Soul Society she takes the captaincy of that same division. She is the calmest of the Visored and the most detached, usually reading in a corner while Hiyori Sarugaki and Shinji Hirako shout at each other, and she reads erotic manga in public without embarrassing herself once.

She was caught in the Hollowfication incident with the other eight, an experiment run on captains and lieutenants who had gone to investigate disappearances in the Rukongai. Kisuke Urahara stopped the process from finishing and Tessai Tsukabishi moved all of them to the Human World, where they spent a hundred years learning to hold the Hollow down. Yamamoto never rescinded the exile and Kyōraku never stopped looking for her.

Haguro Tonbo is a spear, and Lisa fights with a lot of vertical movement, switching hands mid-exchange and using flips and somersaults to reset the angle. She is ambidextrous, which she demonstrates on Ichigo Kurosaki during his mask training without commenting on it. When the Visored return to fight Aizen's army, she goes back into a war that threw her out, and by the end she is wearing the haori of the division she was thrown out of.
