Loly
Aivirrne

Loly Aivirrne is a low-ranking Arrancar in Las Noches with an obsessive attachment to Aizen and a matching hatred of Orihime Inoue, who she assumes has taken her place. She and Menoly Mallia corner Orihime in her cell, beat her, and are stopped by Ulquiorra Cifer, who removes Menoly's arm to make the point.

The character exists to be unpleasant and the arc does something quietly interesting with her anyway. When Yammy Llargo attacks, Orihime heals Loly, who is furious about it and cannot articulate why. Loly then draws on the much larger Espada, in her released form, to defend the person she has spent the entire arc torturing, and is crushed for it in one movement.

She survives, which the series does not make a redemption. Loly reappears after the Wandenreich take Hueco Mundo, attacking Quilge Opie alongside Menoly while he is sorting prisoners, and is put down again. She is one of the small number of characters in Bleach who is consistently outclassed, consistently wrong, and consistently unwilling to stand still for it, and the story keeps giving her the chance to prove that is not going to change.
