Senjumaru
Shutara

Senjumaru Shutara is the Fourth Officer of the Zero Division, titled the Great Weave Guard, and she makes every garment worn in the Soul King Palace. That sounds decorative until the Wandenreich arrive and she meets them with an army of divine soldiers she stitched herself, standing on a platform of arms that reach out of her back.

She talks to Yhwach as an equal and an irritant. When he arrives uninvited she scolds him for the discourtesy, which is the only time anyone treats the Quincy King as bad-mannered rather than terrifying. Her Bankai, Shatatsu Karagara Shigarami no Tsuji, wraps an opponent in a tapestry that binds them where they stand, and she uses it on Uryū Ishida twice.

She is also the member of the Royal Guard most openly committed to finishing the Quincy for good. She tells Uryū she intends to eradicate the bloodline, and she means the whole of it, which is a position the Gotei 13 captains are never asked to defend out loud. Uryū only escapes by turning his own Schrift against her and reversing their conditions. Senjumaru loses that exchange and shows no sign of reconsidering anything.
